The Position:

Oversee the safe operations of the concessions area while providing friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional entertainment experience for our guests.
The Concessions Associate’s attitude directly affects how Top Flight as a whole is perceived. Your main functions are to ensure that all health department & company policies are being adhered to at all times, properly selling and processing payments through the POS, and preparing and serving all food and beverage items to guests,

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Prepare all concession menu items using standard facility equipment and ensuring quality and efficiency and guest satisfaction.
● Assumes responsibility for quality of products prepared and served.

● Maintains the cleanliness of the concession stand to meet or exceed Health
Department standards for cleanliness, food handling, and sanitation.

● Monitors stocks of ingredients and food items and assists with the preparation of inventory supply orders if needed.

● Ensures the neatness, cleanliness and orderliness of the facility by sweeping, mopping, stocking shelves, removing trash, etc.

● Properly store, label and date all products accordingly.
● Ensures that all items meet or exceed food safety standards.
● Presents a clean cut, neat, and professional image.
● Properly maintains and uses all equipment per manufacturer’s and company specifications.
● Exhibits and encourages proper hygiene and sanitary practices.
● Maintains a friendly, courteous, and cheerful demeanor at all times.
● Provides assistance to other employees to contribute to the best overall operation of the park.
● Constantly cleaning all countertops and tables in the concessions seating area.
● Constantly pushing in chairs and straightening up the concessions seating area.
● Perform other duties or roles as assigned by management or needed by the business.

Qualifications:

● Willingness to be a team player and hard worker.
● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Prior experience in the kitchen is preferred but not necessary.
● Must be able to communicate clearly with supervisors and managers but especially with guests.
● Must understand and reinforce the Top Flight culture.
● Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
● Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
● Able to see clearly (with or without glasses) to read, interpret, and understand recipes, menus, food orders, packing slips, etc.
● Able to hear and speak effectively.
● Able to sense degrees of temperature.
● Must be outgoing and able to interact and engage with all guests to enhance guest experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.10 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
